Leesburg Blizzard of 2009

Okay, so it wasn't technically a blizzard, but it sure did snow hard.  Overall, we got nearly 20" of snow over a 24 hour period... which is considerable since Leesburg doesn't get much more than 10 inches in an average year.

Elaine and I, of course, didn't bat an eye.  Lake effect snow has been a way of life since we were born, so we geared up and took the family outside for some fun (and shoveling) in the winter wonderland.  Click here to check out our outdoor adventures.
