We're now moving into our second day at the hospital. It was a tiring but rewarding night feeding Jackson every two hours, and our little guy has been a real trooper considering how much we've had to learn. He made one good cry to wake us up at around 2am, but as soon as he heard our voice he stopped and waited patiently for food. They took him away for a shot at 3:30am and brought him back for more food. After that, he woke up like clockwork every 2 hours, waiting quietly for Mommy and Daddy to get their act together and feed him.
After a bit of breakfast and multiple cat-naps (we'll have to master the art of cat-napping to live through this :), we're now feeling refreshed and having a gas watching all the new faces Jackson is making. He's a little more awake today than yesterday, so maybe some good pictures will come out of it which we'll share here. As for this picture, it speaks for itself: lots of dental work when he's older :-).

Mike and Elaine,
What a gorgeous baby. Jackson looks like he is resting quite comfortably after taking his time to arrive. You both are going to be great parents. Congratulations on being blessed with a beautiful, healthy baby boy.
